Salvete !
I have no idea if it is suitable to raise this question here, but I am really confused:
Zymotechnia fundamentalis seu fermentationis theoria generalis
written by Stahl. Georg Ernst , what does the title mean?
And does it have any difference with Stahl’s Fundamenta chymiae dogmaticae et experimentalis?
multa gratias!

Re: help!Zymotechnia fundamentalis seu fermentationis theoria generalis
Zymotechnia is formed out of two Greek words, ζύμη (leaven) and τέχνη (art).
So it's the art of fermentation, as the second part of the title explains.
chymia comes from χυμεία (alchemy). So it's a different subject, although somewhat analogous.

Corrections are welcome (especially for projects).
