GTSS & Firefox 2.0.0.x

Post by Paul »

To all GTSS users:

The latest versions of Firefox no longer work with GTSS. I apologize for the inconvenience. I will try to get the problem solved within the next 24 hours.

Cordially,

Paul

Hello again,

GTSS may exhibit some anomalous behavior in the next several hours. You might want to avoid using it for now.

I will post here when it is again safe.

Cordially,

Paul

Hi,

It's safe to use GTSS again. But the Firefox issue is not yet solved.

I have some insight into the cause of the problem, but have more work to do.

Cordially,

Paul

Hi All,

I think that I have fixed the problem.

I would be grateful for feedback on this. Specifically, can any Firefox 1.0.2, 1.5, and 2.0 users who are presently in a GTSS group let me know that all is cool?

Thanks.

You rock!

Firefox 2.0.0.2 (on Win 2000):

All problems I had been seeing are resolved. I also pasted, published and closed a lesson just now without any problems.

By the way, gtss is really outstanding. Thank you so much for making it available to us.

That's great news. Thanks Ed.

I've done some simple tests with 1.0.2 and things seem OK.

Cordially,

Paul
