PM problem

I'm trying to send someone a private message, but the message is just sitting in my outbox. I first tried about 6 hours ago, and when I found it was still there, I edited it slightly and tried again, but it's still sitting there and not doing anything. What's wrong?

I believe once the recipient reads it, it moves to the SENT box, and can no longer be edited.

wow, didn't know that, that's interesting... I often have the problem that I press 'send' and then think: argh, I should have added that...
