College student interested in both Latin and Greek --

Post by XvX » Mon Apr 12, 2010 8:01 pm

Hello. I just found this website.

I am not too good with grammar, but I am very interested in learning Greek and Latin.

I glance at language books of them from time-to-time, but nothing too serious yet.

I am in San Diego, California. There isn't much of a group here that studies ancient languages. So, hoepfully this forum will help me out!

If you get very interested in learning Greek and Latin, you will definitely get better with grammar---you'll have no choice!

Indeed, a working knowledge of grammar is essential to studying classical tongues. It will come quickly and fluently though, after all you've been passively using and absorbing these rules all your life.
