Postliberal Theology
Can anyone explain to me how postliberal theology is different from postmodern theology? It seems to me that there is no place for absolute truth in postliberal theology since everything is considered culturally and environmentally determined as in postmodernism, but I've heard that this is not true and that there is a distinction between postmodernist epistemology and that of postliberal theology.

I was a theologian once......When Roscius was an actor
.... either for tragedy,
comedy, history, pastoral, pastoral-comical,
historical-pastoral, tragical-historical, tragical-
comical-historical-pastoral, scene individable, or
poem unlimited...
But pay me no mind, for I gave up Aquinas long ago.

I think it would be better for us if that speech of yours endured the slinging arrows and consented not to be.paulusnb wrote:I was a theologian once......When Roscius was an actor
