Rouse, Sing, Syntax and Idioms

I did a single revision on these using the key (see spoilers) . If I have left an error in, it's generally because I'm not aware that it's an error, or perhaps don't understand the construction that they key is using.

Exercise 1

1. All these men did the same things.
οἱ πάντες ταὐτὰ ἐποίησαν.

2. He hurt himself.
ἐβλάψατο ἑαυτόν.

3. Can these things be true?
ταῦτ᾽ ἀρ᾽ ἀληθῆ ἐστι;

4. Never trust a liar.
μὴ πίστευέ τινι ψεύστῃ.

5. He did the same as I did.
ἐποίησε ὃ ἐποίησα.

6. Part is true, part false.
τὸ μὲν ἀληθές, τὸ δ᾽ οὐ.

7. We were asked for money.
ᾐτήθημεν χρήματα.

8. The orator spoke as follows.
ὁ ῥήτωρ ἔλεξε τοιάδε.

9 Were you not present on that day?

1. Which of all the Spartan kings do you honour most? (Answer) Leonidas.

τίς μάλιστα τίματε τῶν Λακεδαιμονίων βασιλέων; Λεωνίδης.

2. Which of the Spartan kings is in command of the army? (Answer) Archidamus.

3. My father and brother were killed in the same war.

16. πάντες ἡμεῖς ἅμα ἐλαυνόμεθα.
16. Omnes eodem cogimur.
16. πάντες αὐτόσε ἀναγκαζόμεθα.
I didn't read the rest of the list, but here maybe the error was in the Latin? Eo (and so also, appropriately modified, eodem) can of course be the ablative of is,ea,id, but it is also an adverb of place meaning either in hoc loco OR (more frequently) ad/in eum locum. So Omnes eodem cogimur doesn't mean that we are all taken somewhere together (which I think was why you translated with ἅμα?) but rather towards the same place, which is why the Key has αὐτόσε.
