Yippee!

Post by cdm2003 »

Finally, I have finished the first half of LL. :D After eight months of reading, rereading, restarting, backing up, redoing pensa, etc., I have brought Familia Romana to a close. Now, I can put my terribly beat up and worn copy aside and now have in my hands my fresh and clean copy of Roma Aeterna.

Anyway, 1) I wanted to brag (only a little  ), and 2) thank those here who first recommended it to me last year and who answered my questions along the way.

Best,
Chris

*Sigh* A little sad to see the book that helped you so much be in that condition. Mine is all yellowish now. And I was thinking of buying a new copy, but now I think I'll keep it to remember the good ol' days.

Muchas felicitaciones, Chris! :D
Lisa: Relax?! I can't relax! Nor can I yield, relent, or... Only two synonyms? Oh my God! I'm losing my perspicacity! Aaaaa!

Homer: Well it's always in the last place you look.

Congratulations! Tell us how you like Roma Aeterna! I'm actually only a few chapters away from it, myself, but a little girl (I believe she's 7 or so) has my copy. I gave it to her before I left for boot. but, hey, she reads it. i think she's almost done. :D
