How do you ask about the weather?
I've seen
Quaenam est tempestās hodiē? (why quaenam and not quae?)
qualis tempestās est?
I've seen caelum used too
I realize that asking about the weather is not recorded in famous speeches, or histories etc in English or Latin. But it is an everyday occurrence in conversational English.
So what what would be some reasonable ways to ask about the weather in Latin?
Thank you

Re: How do you ask about the weather
It’s more usual to comment on the weather than to ask about it.
