Which book of textkit is the best to start out with Latin...especially for someone trying to learn by themselves...thx

Probably the best way to start is with D'Ooge's Latin for beginners. Many people here have worked from it or are still doing so, and there is a kind of key, made by several textkit members. It is still not complete and certainly not errorfree, but it is a handy thing to have.

I believe i started with Beginner's Latin Book by Collar and Daniell and that just seemed kinda vague...so ill check out the one you suggested...thx!
