Help saying this

Post by bas » Wed Apr 20, 2005 11:22 pm

Forgive me, I do not speak Latin. I am English.
I am looking for a small sentence that sounds like Latin (typically sounding that is) for a song.

I was wondering how to say "Respect for the Pope" in Latin?

Use Parthenophilus' translation if you want to be disemboweled by the first Latin-speaking Catholic you run into. I would say reverentia Papae.
flebile nescio quid queritur lyra, flebile lingua murmurat exanimis, respondent flebile ripae
