Adverbs

Post by Amy »

When making a 1st/2nd decl. adjective ending in -ius into an adverb,
does the I stay?

ex: solitarius, -a, -um
Solitarie or solitare?

I am not sure about this. I am pretty sure that there is no adverbial form based off of solitarius. Not all adjectives have adverbial forms, and adjectives that end in -arius are typically already constructions off an adjective themselves.

Although, words.exe does have 'solitarie' as an adverb. But I am just reading off the screen - I don't know for sure.
