Hi h'Arktos,

Just recently the forum switched to using Unicode fonts instead of the SPIonic coding that you're trying to use; it doesn't work anymore.

You can use this to type in Unicode, and then select and paste it here to the forum:

Thank you for the information, but I must be missing something. I typed "andra moi" in the box. It showed in Latin letters Nothing happened when I clicked on the "Greek Letters," "Keyboard Help" or any of the other tabs. I am, however, able to use the Greek polytonic on my own computer.

Overdue introduction: I took a year of college Latin and college Greek a long time ago. Recently I thought I might try to resume studying on my own. I have some grammars, the "middle" L & S, and some Loebs left over from the old days. Among them is Murray's translation of the Odyssey. I thought I'd try to work on the first book and see how well I could do, then decide whether I wanted to continue after that.

My apologies. It did not work with Netscape, my usual browser, but it does work with (gasp) Explorer.

Hi, you're welcome, I didn't know what a treasure I had on my hands, otherwise I would have shared it sooner. :) But actually I learned about it from Carola, in the Outside Links board, and never thanked her---thanks Carol!
