Hello, all!
Is there any online resource about conversational Ancient Greek? My searches only yield modern Greek results.
I'm looking for basic stuff like 'hello', 'goodbye', 'how are you', weather, etc. The kind of stuff you might find in one of those little travel books.
Thanks,
Titus Marius Crispus

I know of no such thing in English. I have heard rumors on this forum that there is such a thing from Germany:Titus Marius Crispus wrote:Is there any online resource about conversational Ancient Greek? My searches only yield modern Greek results.

It looks like someone may have republished it. Have a look at this page:annis wrote:I know of no such thing in English. I have heard rumors on this forum that there is such a thing from Germany:

Fascinating Web site that fellow has there. He appears to be selling reprints of old German books in Fraktur and other esoterica. But some stuff is offered for free, as PDFs.
Sprechen Sie Attisch can also be special-ordered as a reprint from microfiche, from this organization:
