In D'Ooge's book ( pg37 ) there is the exercise to translate:
Why does Galba's daughter give arms and weapons to the wicked farmers?
The translation is given as :
Cur filia Galbae agricolae malo arma et tela dat?
and I wrote:
Cur filia galbae argiolae malo armum et tellum dat?
I understood arms and weapons to be the dircet object and both are nuter, yet here they're in some other form? Or am I really messed up? Thanks for the help.
