Hi daivid, Can you see what's wrong with
ἐπανελθόν (ending)
ἀνάβασις (ending)
ἀναγιγνώσκων (why participle?)
EDIT: I was thinking you meant "Having returned (ἐπανελθὼν) ... I read" but perhaps you meant "I returned ..., reading ...". In which case you forgot the augment.

I seem to have a blind spot with augments that come after prefixes. :( Going to have to work on that

Again that 2nd-person ἀνέγνως?! But everything else is grammatically correct. φράσιν τινα would be more idiomatic, and you’d do well to add ἔπειτα δὲ before ηὗρον. One or two of your accents are astray (φρασὶν ⟩ φράσιν, ὅμοιαν ⟩ ὁμοίαν).

You’ve failed to correct φρασὶν to φράσιν.

ἄχρι with a verb would be likely be ἄχρι οὗ (until such time as), or you could use ἕως (without οὗ).

Worse - I got confused and "corrected" φράσιν to φρασὶν. :(

I knew as I was writing that I didn't really understand how to express myself. Thanks very much for that pointer.

Nominative - I wasn't sure whether it should have been middle or active though.

Stephanie Russell which I have treated as a third declension noun.

χρωμενος was fine, and middle correct. But it takes dative.
Thanks for explaining της Ρυσσελλος.

φράσων not quite right. Nouns ending in -σις (all feminine) decline like πόλις. It's an important declension, which you should get under your belt.

Would it be better with an article?

Good construction overall though.

Χαρίτων case?

Good. τήμερον would go well at the beginning of the whole sentence, and ἀνέγνων might be better imperfect (or e.g. ἐδυνάμην θᾶσσον ἀναγιγνώσκειν). But I see no actual mistakes here.

daivid, The only thing actually amiss with your sentence is that you’ve got the gender of βίβλου wrong. Both Joel and Markos seem to have missed that. Your word order is quite acceptable, but you don’t have to sandwich τοῦ Χαρίτωνος if the sense is clear, and you could dispense with the article.
(Don’t try to decipher Markos’s Greek, or you’ll be justifiably puzzled by his use of the optative.)

Wrong accents on νεὸν and οἴδα.
