Project Gutenberg

Just curious...does Jeff work at all with Project Gutenberg? I recently joined the proofreading website for PG, and a couple of the books we're proofing right now are in Latin, which made me wonder.

I am studying Latin and Greek for the same reason I'm studying every language except French; because I like them! (I like French, too, of course, but I have many more reasons for learning it.) I am cert...

I took my first quiz today, and got it right-purely by luck! The word that the program quizzed me on wasn't one (the one, actually) that I had recieved before. As I said, I got it right...but what if it's a harder one tomorrow?

One of these days, I'm going to get good at it. :P I did some Latin, and some of my other languages, too, while I was working (it was one of those jobs where you didn't have to use your brain; I was sticking plants in boxes, so I had plenty of time to think), bu...

Hello...again.

Hi, everybody! After about three months of seasonal work and one month of vacation, I'm finally home and settling back into my routines again. I did my first lesson of Latin today, and I'm really looking forward to setting up a regular schedule for studying it. Thank goodness, I can do that now. :) ...

Just wanted to let you all know that the spring season ends officially this Memorial Day!! I"m leaving for a month's vacation this June, but I'll be back to posting (and studying!) the beginning of July, I hope.

Until then, salvete!

Hi again! I checked out the Where is Keesa Thread just now. It's so sweet to be missed! Vocabulary cards are a great idea. i remember reading that francis bacon could also have been shakespeare. Somehow, I find that very hard to believe. Juvenile trash translated into AG. What a shame. What's next, the Hardy Boys? Hmm, the Hardy Boys...not a bad idea!
