I'd also participate if people are interested in reading the Anabasis. I'm actually about three-quarters through a first reading, and would love the opportunity to go through it again with a group.

I don't know of any more effective method than flashcards. Reading won't be as helpful until you can read an appreciable amount, which may be some time off depending on where you are. I have read some of Aristophanes' Frogs with Dover's commentary, which is excellent (as far as I can judge):

If you can get your hands on it, this edition by Irwin and Fine has an useful glossary for Philosophical terms that maps their translations to Greek words and idioms, and contains extensive useful explanations of (their understanding) of Aristotle's usage. https://www.amazon.com/Aristotle-Selections...
