quidquid with a subjunctive?

My Latin text states that "quidquid" is an indeclinable pronoun, but doesn't state that it is interrogative. Given the meaning "Whatever" or "Whoever", and being so close in form to "quid" it seems logical to me that it should be treated as such. I recently ran into a subjunctive verb in a main clau...

Eng. to Lat. Short Quotes

Since I don't have class for about a month, I've been trying to keep up with my Latin by translating small quotes by some of my favorite authors. I've been trying to translate "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." But I have found several words for 'cry' and 'to happen or occur' ...

I'm new to the forum, so I thought I would make this introductory thread and say hello to everyone!

I'm a junior at the University of Montana, with a double major in Philosophy and Classics, and I'll be starting my second semester of Latin in the spring.
