Though it seems like you've settled on Mastronarde, going through the Italian Versions of Ἀθήνᾱζε is a good way to internalize vowels with long iotas, alphas, and upsilons, since Ἀθήνᾱζε uses macrons in context. Also, memorizing Greek poetry or drama will drill some hidden long vowels into your head...

Audio recording of Jason from Ritchie's Fabulae Faciles

I've been listening through the Fabulae Faciles, but although I've been able to find decent (and free!) recordings for the "Perseus," "Hercules," and "Ulixes" portions, I can't find a free recording for the "Jason" section. Can anyone here point me in the right direction?
