Textkit Study Groups: White Session A

This session of the reading group is completed.

The group will start Monday, April 4th.

Before the session starts please spend some time with lessons one and two on the writing system get some practice. The script is not really something we can teach by email. This discussion on the forum has links to several examples of people's handwriting. And at the bottom of the page of this there are examples with arrows for writing direction.

There will be two guides for this session, William Annis and Paul Bell. We will be checking over people's work, answering questions and giving additional information when White's book is perhaps a little terse.

Each week you will use a web page to hand in your translation excercises. When everyone has turned in their work, we will make comments and corrections on the mailing list. You will also be able to compare your work to others on the list.

Because of time pressures on the two guides, for this session we will not be able to correct the English to Greek translation excercises. Of course, we will try to answer direct questions on the mailing list about translation.
