Textkit Study Groups: Pharr Session A

Join the mailing list.

You should have the textbook by the time the session starts. I'd also strongly recommend that you spend some time with lessons one and two on the writing system get some practice with that before we start. The script is not really something we can teach by email. This discussion on the forum has links to several examples of people's handwriting. And at the bottom of the page of this there are examples with arrows for writing direction.

For this session there are three guides. Their job is to answer questions, check over the assignments and to give helpful information when needed. In addition to William Annis (Forum login: annis), the list moderator, Fernand Lemaire (Forum: Skylax) and Paul Bell (Forum: Paul) will also be helping.

How to hand in work. Send email to the list as you would normally, but put the words "Assignment 12" (or whatever chapter) in the subject line to identify it. Guides will indicate corrections and comments the same way, with "Corrections 12."
