Hi.. first post in what I hope is the right spot.
A few days ago, I asked on a separate forum if this was correct for what I wanted to say:
"orationem meditationis specto." -- I had hoped it meant "I'm watching a meditation speech."
However, I was told:
"Orationem meditatiuam..." would be better. When I asked why, he said it was an adjective. That's really all the explanation I got.
Could someone please explain to me the -iam ending on what I thought was a 3rd declension noun "meditatio?" ...for what I suppose adding that makes it an adjective, but I can't find it in any book I have or online.
I hope someone here can help me. I'll really try not to be a nuisance with questions. Thank you.
