Verb morphology

I feel it's about time to learn all the verb forms, and I assume that the best way to do that is to understand the phonetic changes that make them so irregular. Can anyone recommend a good nay the best explanation of those?

the best book on verbs by far in my opinion is duhoux's le verbe grec ancien, but it's pretty long - better to read all of a short document than part of a long one.
