Could someone look over these translations please. The themes for this unit were:

[face=SPIonic]

[/face]

2. But you had sent prizes to Homer in order that he might educate your brother.

[face=SPIonic]
a)=qla de\ tw|+= O(mh/rw| e)pepo/mfhj w(j to\n a0delfo\n pai/deuoi.
[/face]

3. He had written a book about peace in order that we might stop wars.

I think in sentence 2 you either need a i(na or conjunctive.

Why? What's wrong with the optative after a past perfect? Why not [face=SPIonic]w(j[/face]

[face=SPIonic]
peri\ thn ei)rh/nhn : peri\ ei)rh/nhj

pole/mouj pau/saimen : pole/mwn pausai/meqa
[/face] could be acceptable too.
[face=SPIonic]peri/[/face] + Gén is "on the subject of, concerning"; +Acc. is an other "about", nearer to "towards"
