I was wondering if there is an guidance on use of came v went
Mounces exercise 22 warm up a
ἦλθεν πρὀς τὀν Ἰησοῦν
"He/she/it came to Jesus" or "He/she/it" went to Jesus?
The preposition προς is in the accusative which is motion towards, the verb is aorist so I would have thought the correct translation is 'came', but online tools translate it went.
What am I missing here?
