Alexander's surgeon-general !

Hi mates ! Alexander the great's expedition of conquest was led by a sizeable army. It must have included medicine men. Were there Chiropractors / bone specialists in it ? If so, what were they called in greek ?? very curious to know...! sinhakumara. :D

In the meanwhile, I have learnt that Alexander's Doctor in Chief was Philip, a namesake of his father. But I am curious about Osteopaths, osteologists, and some more of the Os...... variety...! Perhaps someone knows..!! sinhakumara. :(

Chiropractors, osteopats and other quacks did not exist during the time - in fact most of the ‹alternative medicine› or ‹complementary medicine› was invented during the 19th century and after. As for bone specialists well… I think that an army at that time was happy to have some kind of medicus, and that there would have been no one specialised in orthopedy.
