Robert Drews' book The End of the Bronze Age: Changes in Warfare and the Catastrophe Ca. 1200 B.C. is also a good, if rather technical, read on the subject.

I have been looking for this thread since a few months ago(For I forgot the exact keyword I was trying things like "Ancient Greek Dark Age" in vain) and today I looked through the Open Board posts from 2005 down, and found that the video clips are all removed! What a disappointment!
