'I believe you expressed a preference for....'

I asked this question in the 'new posts' but it might get lost there so forgive me for repeating it.

I would be very grateful if someone could translate this phrase for me.

'I believe you expressed a preference for (insert name)

This would be from a boy to master.

Hope you can help. Thanks.

Ego puto vos pocius Poe

This looks a it duff to me. But in any case I want make the statement that the preference was previously expressed.

Puto te dixisse praeferre <name in the accusative>

I think that you have said that you prefer <name>.

simple verb plus accusative plus infinitive construction.
