I have begun, in a regular basis, to initiate my elder daughter, 6, into Greek and Latin.
It is only pronunciation for now, reading aloud and writing a couple of sentences once a week.
The Greek textbook I have chosen is "Athenaze" Book I, and Latin "Lingua Latina: Familia Romana"
She has already been intrduced to Greek alphabet and seems to enjoy learning them. She said she was afraid Latin would be very difficult but found it wasn't. Actually I'm rather studying Latin along with my daughter than teaching her. I hope my daughter stand on a easier ground when she seriously begin to learn those classical languages.
