Latin Prose Composition

Post by Aether »

Can anyone suggest a good latin prose composition text based on Caesar or Cicero? Especially the one with explanatory illustrations. I don't know which to start with.
PS: Is there an answer key to the LATIN PROSE COMPOSITION Based On Cicero by Henry Carr Pearson?

Someone know about latin composition text which is friendly to self-learner.
I've took a glimpse at Chales Bennett's New latin composition and Henry Carr Pearson's text based on Cicero. The former has abundant exemples extracted from Caesar's BG or Cicero's but only succint explanations, the latter has suffice grammatical explanations where it suppass the former and is alledge to be based on Cicero whose I cherish most, though Caesar is also elegant in his style.
Or can someone take a judge or suggest another better one?
