smyth 1328

Hi,
At Smyth 1328, I have two questions: 1) where is the genitive in χόλος υἱός? and 2) what is O 138, surely not X.O.?

Hi,

The reference is to the Iliad, book 15 -- Smyth uses the system where capital Greek letters refer to the book of the Iliad, lowercase letters to the Odyssey. Looking it up, the text has χόλον υἷος so you can see by the accentuation that υἷος is genitive (υἱός has a lot of variant forms).
