Hey everyone,
I was wondering how you would translate the sentence : "A man's worth is not determined by his wealth, but by the love he gives to, and recieves from, the ones he cherishes".
I just think that this sentence would sound fancy in latin, so i was wondering how you could translate it .
Thank you

Re: A man's worth is not determined by his wealth
vir dignitatem non de pecunia, sed de amore amantis data acceptaque, trahit.
Literally
A man draws his worth not from money but from the love of a lover given and received.

The only thing we can guarantee when communicating via the internet is that we will be almost completely misunderstood, and likely cause great offence in doing so. Throw in an attempt at humour and you insure a lifelong enemy will be made.
