Salvete amici!

I'm thinking credulitatem superat means "is beyond belief," or "transcends belief."

Sententiam "credulitatem superat" anglice "is beyond belief" vel "transcends belief" esse puto.

I would think it means something like that. I searched on Perseus under Philologic (http://perseus.uchicago.edu/latin.html) and it looks like that specific combination doesn't occur in any classical texts (at least not those in the database), but I can't see what else it could mean. Perhaps others have suggestions....

Just as you say (sometimes also "past belief" in English) for "credulitatem superans",—or "fidem superans" (which Ainsworth gives).
Ut dicis pro "credulitatem superans"—vel "fidem superans" (quod hoc quoquè secundum dictionarium de Ainsworth dicitur).
I'm writing in Latin hoping for correction, and not because I'm confident in how I express myself. Latinè scribo ut ab omnibus corrigar, non quod confidenter me exprimam.
