Postby blutoonwithcarrotandnail » Sun Nov 01, 2009 5:59 pm

Looking in the dicitonary i found this:

Lucius Licinius Crassus (90bc orator)

Marcus Licinius Crassus Dives(112-53bc triumvriate)

For some reason it looks like the movie Spartacus is about
the second Crassus?

Correct?

thanks

Correct. Marcus Licinius Crassus was a part of the First Triumvirate along with Julius Caesar and Pompey. He died fighting the Parthians in a disastrous Roman defeat at Carrhae in 53 B.C.
