What's the protocol?

Post by Bert »

Am I supposed to delete my messages after a certain time or do they disappear automatically ( of do they just stay and clutter up the board ?) What's the protocol?

The forum software will handle the message aging.

As William says - just leave them there and we'll take care of them. ;) Anyway, I don't think you can delete messages - I could be wrong, but I think only moderators and administrators can do that...

All the same, it's good of you to ask - nice to see that members care about the upkeep of the forums even if it's not their responsibility... :)

I'll leave well enough alone then.
The reason I asked was the "delete" button beside every message I posted

HI Bert
You can delete your own posts, as well as modify them, which is nice cause I usually have a few typos as well in mine and notice and change them!
E
