This edition is much better than the Loeb because it contains an apparatus criticus and because it is part of the Teubner series.

while were on the topic of st augustine would anyone know where i could get a download of some latin classics texts such as english grammar for students of latin.lulu.com as recommended by 'bedwere' has some downloadable latin texts, unfortunately not what i want at the moment.
keep reading the great doctor of grace.he is one of my all time favourite saints (as well as pope benedicts).
