Any Haruspices?

Post by annis »

This morning on my way to work a red-tailed hawk flew right over my head quite low. He flew from the NE from my right.

Should I expect an IRS audit? Are the guys doing my siding going to fall into the Tiber? Should I expect success from my campaign in Illyria?

Be glad he didn't drop a rock or turtle on your head.

You need an augur. Seeing he came from your right should be favourable no?

Ooh, you are correct. Haruspex is a niftier sounding word, though, which probably tempted me into this solecism.

One would think. I can, however, report that in my case this sign means that a large, 4Tb disk system is about to eat its own brains and cause one to spend many hours trying to get it back into shape. Urgh.

Perhaps it was heralding the end of the world, as some people seem to think that will happen today as you can read here.
