So far, I haven't found any bookstores devoted primarily to classical studies in New York City. I was at Strand last night, but found maybe 3-4 books in Latin, including a solitary Loeb. I expected more.
Does anyone know of any good classics bookstores, or at least bookstores with large (especially Latin) collections (Loebs, non-Loebs, stylistic commentaries, etc.)? It seems bizarre that these things are so hard to find, since New York has so many other niche bookstores.
Classical Studies bookstores in NYC?

Hi Alex,
An old thread mentions the Strand (which you say is sadly not up to par) and Gotham Book Mart.
Here's the thread:

Good luck. Let us know what you discover!
