phoenix motto

Post by Popded »

Hello everyone! I am looking for the latin version of the phoenix motto "εκ της τεφ?ας μου αναγεννώμαι" (ek tis tefras mou anagenome-from my ashes I rise). I need best possible translation because it will be part of a company logo and will be placed on letterheads, uniforms, merchandise, office signs, you name it...Thanks in advance :D !

one option would be:

"meo e cinere orior"

EDIT: on second thought i don't like the hiatus. "e meo cinere orior"
“Cum ego verbo utar,” Humpty Dumpty dixit voce contempta, “indicat illud quod optem – nec plus nec minus.”
“Est tamen rogatio” dixit Alice, “an efficere verba tot res indicare possis.”
“Rogatio est, “Humpty Dumpty responsit, “quae fiat magister – id cunctum est.”

Since αναγεννώμαι has the sense of "rise again", what about using renascor? (I'd have suggested redorior but this doesn't seem to exist.)
