Hi All,
I am new to this site, which I just found yesterday, and this is my introduction and why I am interested in Latin, among other languages. But right now I am focused on Latin. I have currently been working with several books,Wheelock's being one of them, and have somewhat of a part time tutor via the net.
I have been playing around with some Latin and Greek and Hebrew in recent years and just today I meet with a man who is going to help me with learning some Arabic also. So, I bet you are next asking why does this guy have an interest in so many languages. Well, if you will look closely at which languages I am interested you will find that the common denominator is Theology. I am currently studying Theology and will be starting in the Episcopal Church seminary program in August.
One of the current programs I am involved in, and right now there are many, is a program on the Internet call The Theology Program which is an outgrowth of the Dallas Theological Seminary, which is as you can guess located in Dallas. It is operated by two well education gentlemen who are graduate's of DTS Named Michael Patton MTh., and Rhome Dyke MTh. So if anyone hear is interested in a substantive program directed toward the education of lay people in theology, this is the place to go. My published link page to the main program sites, course information, discussion groups and my personal web pages there, can be located on my published links page at.

Peace and see you around.
