OppidÄnÄ« bonÄ« SextÅ lÄ“gÄtÅ clÄrÄ pecÅ«niam dant.

Why is clÄrÄ used to describe SextÅ rather than clarÅ?

I looked in my copy of D'Ooge I downloaded from here, and it is "claro."

Yes, it's a typo. I was using a copy of D'Ooge that I downloaded from Project Gutenberg. I'll try the PDF instead.
