a composition book based upon homer???

is there such a thing? if not, what could be used to supply the scarce exercises presented on pharr. [they are quite effective - at least for me - but they are few in number, thereby i want something to serve as a complement]

I have never heard of such a thing. That doesn't mean no such resources exist, but I expect they would be rare. Attic has always been the preferred dialect for both prose and verse composition. The mixed-dialect Kunstsprache of Homer would make prose exercises a bit odd.

The aoidoi did! Not conversationally, but we've good reason to expect they could improvise in verse using that dialect.

I suspect 3us Robertus is looking for extra practice, not to start a Homeric prose movement, fun though that sounds.
