thank you very much my friend... the translation is good...

but grammatically ive already hit a problem ... what form is the word ελδείν?... is it the infinitive of 'eldomai'? ...origionally i thought it was but would that be έλδειν... not ελδείν...

this is the word in context:

AÏ￾χόμενος Ï€Ï￾ώτης σελίδος χοÏ￾oν εξ Ελικώνος
ελδείν εις εμόν ήτοÏ￾ επεÏ￾χομαι είνεκ' αοιδής,

This is an error. It should be á¼￾λθεῖν.

It's not just the accent that changed, it's a different word, the aorist infinitive á¼￾λθεῖν (indic. ἦλθον, present usually given as á¼”Ï￾χομαι).
