The solution can't be "a journey of two or three days" because it doesn't say " of two"

δÏ￾ο is often indeclinable when used with plural nouns, so I would take it here as going with Ï„Ï￾εῖς to give you "of two or three days." If I remember correctly, δυοῖν usually occurs only with dual nouns.
