Postby Hammurabi » Fri Apr 28, 2006 4:21 am

Hi you all!
I keep working hard now on excercise ·277...
I hope there're not too many errors...

He conquers the enemy.
And he honored the general with other gifts.
But the soldiers were shouting to the guards to stop.
This man asks wether you admire the army.
4. οὗτος á½￾ ἀνὴÏ￾ á¼￾Ï￾ωτᾷ εἰ τὸν στÏ￾ατεÏ￾ματα τιμᾷς.
When Cyrus set out, I proceeded at once to Phrygia.

Thank you very much in advance for your help!! :D :D  8)

Good job ! :) Only slight inaccuracies.

He conquers the enemy.
And he honored the general with other gifts.
(check aorist endings)
But the soldiers were shouting to the guards to stop.
This man asks wether you admire the army.
4. οὗτος á½￾ ἀνὴÏ￾ á¼￾Ï￾ωτᾷ εἰ τὸ στÏ￾άτευμα (neuter noun, so acc. = nom.)
When Cyrus set out, I proceeded at once to Phrygia.
5. ὅτε δὲ á½￾ ΚῦÏ￾ος ὡÏ￾μᾶτο (from á½￾Ï￾μάω, not ἔταττε, which means « he drew up »), εá½￾θὺς εἰς ΦÏ￾Ï￾γιαν á¼￾ποÏ￾ευόμην (don’t forget the augment).
