Hi you all!

I worked today on excercise 257,
each one is more difficult:
I worked on sentence order.
I just wanna be sure If I understood well...

257.

We feel grateful with the old man.
1. τῷ γέÏ￾οντι χάÏ￾ιν ἔχομεν.
At night they ceased from battle.
Cyrus had twenty chariots
The bowmen shot birds and wild asses on the plain.
The army was cut to pieces by the barbarians.
5. κατακέκοπται τῇ στÏ￾ατιᾷ οἱ βάÏ￾βαÏ￾οι.

Thanx very much in advance
:D :D

Good job ! accent is improving ! :)

We feel grateful with the old man.
1. τῷ γέÏ￾οντι χάÏ￾ιν ἔχομεν. - ok :)
At night they ceased from battle.
Rather : τῆς νυκτὸς (see 256) á¼￾παÏ￾σαντο (< παÏ￾ομαι with the Gen., see 189 and 849) τῆς μάχης.
Cyrus had twenty chariots
(I modified the accent on εἶχεν)
The bowmen shot birds and wild asses on the plain.
The army was cut to pieces by the barbarians.
5. κατακέκοπται τῇ στÏ￾ατιᾷ οἱ βάÏ￾βαÏ￾οι.
I would say : κατεκόπη (aorist passive) ἡ στÏ￾ατιὰ (subject) ὑπὸ τῶν βαÏ￾βάÏ￾ων (agent)
