With the battling in Germany having been fought, Marcus Appius wandered in a forest of Britian. Marcus had a sword and a shield and a horse but his friend, Lucius Sulla, lacked arms and courage. They said that Sulla was weak because he lacked arms but with the dragon having come he seemed great. They walked in the forest for 5 days with the purpose of discovering the monster but suddenly on the sixth day it discovered them and it attacked. Appius, dropping his arms, fled and so Sulla alone stood against the dragon. The Dragon ignored Sulla and ate Appius. Then he saw the cohort and said “Either flee or I will burn you up most quickly and tell no one, either run for safety or perish!†Sulla fought with the sword and shield and with great courage he overcame the monster in the struggle but injured his hand. The claw of the dragon had made the hand forever mutilated. The loyal man had conquered.
