I think it might be useful if I type in the questions from the text book, then the answers (and it might also stop me making stupid transposition mistakes as well).
1. Cyrus sent gifts to the generals.
ΚῦÏος δῶÏá½° τοῖς στÏατηγοῖς ἔπεμπε.
2. He led the horse into the river.
τὸν ἵππον εἰς τὸν ποταμὸν ἔπεμπε.
3. The general had ships of war (lit. “long shipsâ€).
ὠστÏατηγός πλοῖα μακÏá½± εἶχε.
4. We are sending the wine to Cyrus.
τὸν οἴνον ΚῡÏῳ πέμπομεν.
5. The generals sent horses to Cyrus.
οἱ στÏατηγοί ἵππους ΚῡÏῳ έπέμπομεν.
Also, while my “Unicode Classical Greek Inputter†is not bad, it is slow and difficult to read on my laptop, so any suggestions for typing Greek, any free programs anyone could recommend? Also thank you to everyone who helped with corrections and comments.
