Help requested on translation

Hi,

I am looking for the translation of a sentence from English to Latin. As a non-Latin speaker I can find the words but I am not sure how to build a correct sentence with them.

The sentence I would like to translate into Latin is:

the innocent do not need to defend themselves

I do not know if this can be translated exactly as such but the importance is in the meaning of the sentence. If you have to twist the original sentence a bit but keep the meaning of the message in the Latin sentence, that will do sufficiently.

BTW emk are my initials but I tripled them because it was already in use on some other forum (and I can't remeber al those different names for all those different fora ). As a newby on Latin, I did not know what Greek letters to use.
