Help requested on translation

Post by emkemkemk »

Hi,

I am looking for the translation of a sentence from English to Latin. As a non-Latin speaker I can find the words but I am not sure how to build a correct sentence with them.

The sentence I would like to translate into Latin is:

the innocent do not need to defend themselves

I do not know if this can be translated exactly as such but the importance is in the meaning of the sentence. If you have to twist the original sentence a bit but keep the meaning of the message in the Latin sentence, that will do sufficiently.

Hope someone can help me out. Your help is highly appreciated!

Best regards,

Marc

Hi, thanks for your quick reply.

BTW emk are my initials but I tripled them because it was already in use on some other forum (and I can't remeber al those different names for all those different fora :D ). As a newby on Latin, I did not know what :D Greek letters to use.
